Brett Tollman's Biography
Brett Tollman, the CEO and President of The Travel Corporation, has some 30 years of experience in the travel and tourism industry under his belt and is a professional of long standing in this field.
Since starting with the Travel Corporation in 1997, Brett Tollman has held a number of positions within the enterprise, bearing responsibility for several TTC businesses. Among these are the Red Carnation Hotels, where he still serves as the CEO. Being a third generation hotelier himself, Tollman brings significant experience to this field. The Red Carnation Hotels are a group of twelve luxury boutique hotels in the UK, South Africa, Switzerland and the US. The hotels pride themselves on their motto of total commitment to service and their guests’ every comfort, where “no request is too large, no detail too small”
Brett G. Tollman served as President and COO for T-H Hotels prior to joining The Travel Corporation. T-H Hotels, a private company based in New York, managed and operated a number of three star hotels. In his position there Tollman oversaw all operations and sales and marketing requirements, as well as maintenance of the hotel grounds.
Brett Tollman finds time in his busy schedule for involvement in a number of professional councils and organizations. He was an establishing member of The Travel Corporation’s Conservation Foundation, which address the growing problem of tourist sites that are ecologically endangered. The non-profit Foundation is active in the preservation and protection of such sites and strives to minimize ecological harm by all travelers. Tollman also serves on the executive committee of the World Travel and Tourism Council, which is dedicated to the travel and tourism industry, and is vice chairman responsible for membership. Sharing his knowledge and expertise in his field with others is important to Tollman, and he does this by mentoring individuals within the company, as well as via the Young Presidents Organization. The members of the organization are international business presidents from around the world that meet to exchange ideas and share educational opportunities.
Brett Tollman was born in South Africa in 1961. He received his schooling at Rugby, and earned his B.Sc in Hotel Management at Cornell University. In his new position Tollman will be working out of the TravCorp USA office, which is located in Anaheim, CA., as well as from the Uniworld office in Encino, CA. To this end he has relocated, with his wife and three children, from London to Los Angeles.
